RTRC workshops for students - January 2007

Throughout January, we will be offering a number of workshops to students. They will last about 20 minutes and aim to boost your study skills and help you get the most out of the various electronic resources available from the RTRC.

As the workshops are at 12.30, why not come along - and bring your sandwiches too. Please sign up for workshops in advance at the enquiry desk in the Resource Centre.

Essay Writing: an overview of planning essays, finding and organising information and essay structure. Runs Friday 12th 19th January

Using Intute: a beginner's guide to this very useful resource. Runs Thursday 25th January

Introducing "Athens": an introduction to a service which allows home access to a variety of electronic resources for health, art and design, business and hairdressing, as well as general research. Runs Tuesday 30th January
