Tuesday's student drop-in workshop (29th May) is on bibliographies and referencing. Are you citing references and compiling bibliographies correctly? Don’t lose marks in your essays and reports.

Thursday's workshop (31st May) looks at online reference resources. Need to find information on a person, area, charity, company or event…? This workshop will show you how and where.

Workshops last about 20 minutes and aim to make your studying easier and more productive! All workshops take place in the Resource Centre at 12.30 noon.

RTRC bank holiday closure - 25th, 26th and 28th May

Please note that the Resource Centre will be closed on the following days, due to the bank holiday weekend:

Friday 25th May
Saturday 26th May and
Monday 28th May

The Resource Centre will resume normal opening hours on Tuesday, 29th May.

Essay writing student workshop - Monday 21st May 2007

Please note that the the Essay Writing student workshop, originally scheduled for Thursday 17th May, has now been postponed until Monday 21st May at 12.30 noon.

The workshop will take place in the Resource Centre and will last about 30 minutes. A brief presentation will cover how to plan essays, finding and organising information and structuring essays.

Resource Centre closure Friday 18th May

Please note that the Resource Centre will be closed all day on Friday 18th May, to accomodate the staff Operational Planning meeting. This is earlier than the advertised 12 noon closure.
