Changes to the PC booking system in The Learning Curve

To increase student access to PCs in The Learning Curve, from Monday 21st April we will be introducing a number of changes:

• We now have an additional PC on the upper level which is a print-only station, allowing students quick access to printing facilities only. This is because many students ask for PCs solely to print off class work.

• The maximum booking time will now be for a two hour period in the mid level tier. This will allow us to make more bookings, for more students.

• During lunch and tea breaks the maximum booking will be for half an hour. Again, most students at this time of day only want the use of a PC for short time.

• No class or group bookings will be taken during break times.

• Canteen computers will time-out after half-an-hour to allow more students access.
